What is TEMPUS Escapes all about?

TEMPUS stands for Temporal Exploration for Malady Prevention & Universal Security. TEMPUS is here to identify and recruit top talent across time and space to join the agency. This is done via escape room-style assessments that are immersive and test skills like problem-solving and teamwork

What does it mean that your games are customizable?

Because we build proprietary technology for our games, we have the ability to let our players customize their experience. Customization includes game elements such as toggling jump scares, AI attitude, or even the room temperature. We want the game to be just right for YOU.

How much time should I set aside for a TEMPUS escape room experience?

The entire experience, including the briefing and the game itself, typically lasts about 60 minutes.

What kind of abilities are required to participate in a TEMPUS escape room?

No specific skills are required. Our games are designed to test problem-solving, observation, and teamwork skills but do not rely on particular industry or historical knowledge or skills.

Can I exit the room during the game?

Yes, you can. For safety reasons, our rooms are not actually locked. You can leave at any time.

What if we get stuck and need assistance during the game?

Our game moderators are watching and always ready to provide hints and help you out if you’re finding a puzzle particularly challenging.

Can I arrange a private event or book for a large group at TEMPUS?

Our first room can accommodate up to 8 players max and every booking is private. Bring your inner circle for the escape room – the rest can enjoy the big-group party (just don’t tell them they didn’t make it into ‘escape room friend’ status.

How can I reserve a game at TEMPUS?

You can book a game through our website. If you have any issues or special requests, feel free to contact us at contact@tempusescapes.com.

What happens if I'm late for my booking?

We recommend arriving 15 minutes before your scheduled game time. If you’re late, we may have to reduce your game time to avoid delays for other players.

Are we allowed to bring mobile phones into the rooms?

While you can bring your phone into the room, we encourage you to fully immerse yourself in the experience and avoid using it during the game. It won’t help you solve anything and those Insta DMs can wait.

Are the rooms wheelchair accessible?

We strive to make our games accessible to everyone. Please contact us in advance to discuss any specific accessibility needs.

Is there a dress code for the escape rooms?

There’s no specific dress code, but we recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that you can move around in easily
